Athlone Town A.F.C. is an Irish football club playing in the Football League of Ireland. The club was founded in 1887 which makes them the oldest football club in Eire(Courtesy of Athlones web site) and elected to the league in 1922, hails from Athlone and play their home matches in Lissywoollen. Club colours are Blue and Black. Their current manager is Michael O'Connor.
